Västerbottensostsmör is a wonderfully good accompaniment to both vegetables and meat or serve the spice butter with oven-fried potatoes, or root vegetables. Spice butter also works great as a seasoning for seared or fried fish.
100 g butter
2 tablespoons parsley leaves, chopped
1-2 tablespoons canola oil
1 pinch of flake salt
Västerbottensostsmör®
Whisk up butter and mix in Västerbottensost and® parsley.
Stir in canola oil and season with flake salt.
Serve in a bowl, or shape into a roll in greaseproof paper and freeze.
