A melted cheese sauce of Västerbottensost with a little sting of chili. Perfect as a dip for various snacks!
1 tablespoon butter
1 tbsp flour
1 1⁄4 dl milk
1 1⁄2 dl Västerbottensost®
1⁄4 pcs Jalapeño
1⁄4 pcs red chili pepper
1⁄2 pcs garlic, pressed
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 pc green onions
Processed cheese sauce with Västerbottensost®
Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the flour while whipping
Add the milk and beat in the cheese when it starts to boil
While it simmers, finely chop the chili, garlic and green onions
Add the tomato paste and serve hot
Add more milk if the sauce becomes too thick.
