Vegetarian, creamy pasta with asparagus that is quick to cook and is perfect as everyday food. It will be a new favorite!
500 g of fresh pasta
1 bunch of green asparagus
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 cup cooking cream
2 yolks
Extra yolks to serve (optional)
Fresh spices to serve (optional)
Salt and black pepper
Cut off the stem of the asparagus and brown it lightly in a frying pan, add garlic towards the end and lower the heat.
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Whisk together cooking cream, egg yolks and Västerbotten cheese®.
Pour off the water from the saucepan. Add asparagus, egg and cheese mixture, stirring constantly.
Serve the carbonara with freshly grated Västerbotten cheese®, black pepper, basil and an extra yolk.
